Yes, he was. Social security does nothing for the economy, nothing he did helped the economy get out of the Great Depression. World War II and deficeit spending helped the economy boost itself out. Expanded government doesn't help anyone. If you want to live in a socialist government where you depend on the government for everything, then go live in England. Yes, anyone can do anything. All you have to do is try. You don't need money to do everything, just alot of people are fucking lazy asses and relay WAY to much on the government to get their money for them.
