Is Fury like Whirlwind as far as attack speed goes? Is the weapon speed the only modifier?

I was going for IK Boots+Gloves for the IAS bonus/AR Bonus/Life/20 Dual Stat.

Life leech has seemed to be completely useless thus far. I've tried a few with my Druid slamming with Bonehew and he leeches back almost nothing.

The Gore Riders I see, but then I lose the ias bonus from partial IK set.
