Ive heard there are quite a few games on GameCube but i also have heard its a gay childs system. Im obviously not to well informed so im not really sure what to believe, can someone who has one list some advantages and disadvantages over lets say the Xbox and ps2?

The people that say its a child's system probably don't own one, you know. Gamecube has *quality* games that will last you a long time, are very very fun, and rarely get boring. Xbox has 1, maybe 2 games worth it. And PS2 is the RPG console. It has *lots* and lots of rpgs, and alot of good ones too. You pick. If you want Xbox games just get the PC version, they'll work better and you'll have a mouse and keyboard as well. Not to mention a PC owns the consoles anyways xD
Edit: Almost forgot, as for Xmas gifts I'm not really expecting any, so no list for me!
