2. A rectangular parcel of land is 24 feet longer than it is wide.

If the parcel of land is x feet wide, then it is 24+x feet long and the length D of the diagonal is given by the expression

A diagonal from one corner to the opposite corner is 120 feet long. What are the dimensions of the parcel?

Ahhhhh fill in the blank!! whoever saw it and know how to do it help plz, I got very confuse with words problem. errrr I got to tunr it in in 2 more hours.

5. A factory is to be built on a lot measuring 150 feet by 200 feet. A local building code specifies that a lawn of uniform width and equal in area to the factory must surround the factory. What must the width of the lawn be, and what are the dimensions of the factory?
