My high school was a lot more strict than that. If you missed more than 20 days of school, you didn't get credit for that year. 3 lates counted as an absence too. It was rough.

Also, senior year, if you had an A going into the final, you didn't have to take it, but if you had more than 10 absences, you did. Gay... I had to take ALL my fucking finals because of that shit...

Also, we would have on average of about 30-40 bomb threats a year, until I was a Junior, then they started having cops on the roof at all times during the day, and dogs would do a sweep before each morning the students came in. We were pretty hard core... I hear it is even more strict now, thank god I'm outta there.
