warcraft 3 boring ;(
 

i got bored of wc3 after about two weeks. It just isnt compeditive enough like starcraft was.

First theres the randomness of items dropping for your hero. My friend once got two rings of health by lvl 7 he had like 2k health.

Second you dont really have time to counter...once you choose what your going for thats it. So winning a game has a lot to do with what you went for and what your opponent went for. HOPEFULLY you went for something that will counter what your opponent did. thats not how a game like this should be played.

Third Starcraft was awesome because each unit had original abilities (siege mode, cloak, psi storm, ect.) while in warcraft 3 all you do with units after you have them is just attack. select and right click.

Fourth heros should not be in multiplayer, just single player. there abilities should be distributed to all the units so that going for units means knowing what the unit can do and what it can counter.

Fifth flying shouldnt be so powerfull, chimmeras and gargoyals are too good. to go mass gargoyals you dont even need the most upgraded town hall. also when units say they do damage they dont always actually do that ammount of dmg. the spider (that undead has) does 2 dmg a hit to buildings when it says it does 40+ or something around that.

Sixth blizz should have taken advantage of the night/day system much more. i mean plz...YAY my night elf units are invisible WHEN THEY STAND STILL at night. whoopie.

Seventh i think this game would be MUCH better to have mass units then starcraft. Starcraft should have the upkeep while warcraft 3 should have mass units/no upkeep. Starcraft would have been awesome with upkeep. you couldnt just go mass hydras or battle cruisers...and if you got a few battle cruisers you would have to use them very wisely...and really take advantage of yamoto cannon. not just spam them and attack recklessly.

Either way, I agree with you, except on one point. Since it's Warcraft, you're not neccesarily supposed to have special abilities on every unit. Like you said, it's too bad that the game only lasts for 2 weeks until it starts to get boring. I still play SC sometimes, and it's been like 4 years since it got out.
