I'm not closed minded. I just can't stand rap. It's bad poetry set to bad music. And too damn many people these days listen to it because they think it makes them cool.

There are a few groups (Jurassic 5 and Nappy Roots) that I like, but mainly because they don't rap about being "gangsta's" or "ballers" or any of that other ridiculous crap that the "Big Tymers" and groups like those guys constantly talk about. I want to vomit every time I hear some moron on MTV rap about his Benz, or his bitches, or his bling bling. Sickening.

Rap peaked a decade or so ago in my opinion, I am into all kinds of music but rap is just in a fukkin rut, all morons who know nuthin about hard living or being tough, just wanna crow about their lil winkys and skanky hoes lol. Even the old violent shit by D Dre and Ice Cube / Ice T was great because they lived it and MEANT IT. I still listen to my old De La Soul cd`s sometimes lol but thats about it for me.

Eminem has some raw talent, and a couple great tracks, the only problem with Eminem is the kids that take him seriously and want to 'bust a cap'

When I see Eminem, I see a more socially acceptable Vanilla Ice. I don't like him because he's a gimmick. I don't like him because he's Fred Durst with more hair and less gut.

I think eminem is a pretty good rapper, but as I said before tupac owns all rappers.
