To disappear or not disappear
 

My question is if you have bought a clean 1.08 Gaze and chances are its a dupe (or anything that could b a clean dupe).....and if u socket it with a legit Rune or Jewel would there still be a chance it will disappear?

YES.
What ever you'll do, it will still have his server ID.
If it meet another same dupe, it will vanish (if it quits the game not in the FIRST position).
It won't dissapear if you ONLY use private game (like bot run.) --> no chance to meet another same dupe.

Try Personalizing It??

i cham'd it and personalized it and it poofed so
no matter what "PERM ME"

With 160/60 dupes like archon plate of the whale or something would that disappear? or disappear in the next patch? coz i wanna replace my old 160/60max with the one with life......

It will still disappear.....

Just buy an unid one

Hum... unid item are not 100% safe either.
Some are duped too.

my friend knows how to dupe unid things too

perhaps he would like to share his dupe method with us :)

either perm it or find a source of dupes that is safe

A dupe is a dupe theres no such thing as a 'safe' duped item.

Socketed items currently do not have item ID's so they wont poof.

so long as u perm it in every public game (open trade window) you can do whatever u want to it, and it aint going anywhere
