Question about trojans and netstat
ok, so i have a few trojans on my comp, it happens to a lot of people. i keep dloading all these trojan scanners and cleaners, and they only detect the trojans if i run the prog that contains them(with a real time scanner running). Any suggestions as to why or a working scanner/cleaner?
Also, while i have the trojans on my comp... if i use netstat to monitor the listening ports, will it have an IP in place of 0.0.0.0 if someone if accessing my comp? AARGH I hate trojans...... |
no..itll say the trojan port and the persons ip...if u have xp...cntrl alt delete..and close all wierd process's that u dont know what they are...and keep only ones u want open
Diablo II = game.exe Internet Explorer = iexplorer.exe MSN = msmsgs.exe but system process's you need to keep on..and network..anything thats local (ur user name) u should probebly close..just experiment..and then when u find the trojan process... Start, run msconfig then go to startup and find it..uncheck it...and look in other tabs for it..uncheck it if you find.. have fun |
