Successful SFX?
In the film industry, the composers say that their music is successful if no-one remembers it afterwards. Apperently, that would mean it had added to the overall feeling of the movie, but wouldn't it just be simple to skip the music completely if no-one notices it anyway?

Well then the movie wouldnt have that special tone to it... it wouldnt feel right. Thats like playing Final Fantasy without the music... it just doesnt seem very good.

It's just that the music is supposse to create an appropiate enviroment to the film but not to catch the spectator attemption

Its basicly used to set the mood.
Remember at the end of Gladiator, that kinda sad/honored song. That is a perfect example. |
