Fellow Zelaroners, the director of the board is slowly but surely running out of funds, and we are considering some options, such as putting up a banner in the top right part of the forum, or create a popup that someone will hopefully click accidentally. Even if we lose half of the forum members for good, we would still get a few clicks, not to mention that the bandwidth consumtion would be lowered in time.

If you would like to avoid this, all you would have to do would be to donate a dollar once every month to the starving Zelaron admins. Please do not send food, because the shipment will instantly become a lot more expensive than the food itself. A single dollar from all of the 8 active and extremely dedicated Zelaroners will cover an entire 80% of the monthly hosting bills, so the little money left on the Zelaron paypal account will last for 2000 months. Make Zelaron live for 167 additional years - donate a dollar today!

This means the hosting is 10 a month and that zelaron is rich! =X

I don't think any regular would mind clicking a banner or two once a day. Actually... what you might think about doing.. is putting a link to the "Banner Page" somewhere. Then when people get a chance, they can go to the banner page and click on each of 100 banners. =P I'd do it.

another forumy website that I posted and was part of a few years ago tried a banner thing, and every day Id go and click some, and other people would click some, and then the banner company said they wouldnt pay cause all the clicks were only the same people and so that doesnt count

Actually, this thread was making the problems seem a little bigger than they are. While it is a bit costy to run the board, it isn't an emergency. Donations would still be accepted though, and I'm sure I could somehow reward people willing to donate a dollar or two.

When I get my paycheck Ill send you $20, just gimme your adress in aim or something.

ill come to zelaron even if it had pop-ups i think u got me wrong. I love zelaron...best website on the net. I'm just not gonna go to a banners page though and click a 100 banners.

ill donate as much as possible but i cann't donate a ton because i am legally amancipated so i have to pay my own bills and stay in school but ill send all i can spare why reward i don't want to be treated better becasue of money we donate to keep this place running because it is soo alsome so i don't want anything for my money but im your address or post it here plz ill send out asap
