Moving

I'm heading to Colorado in less than two weeks. I am damn excited to get out of this icebox. I have a BS in Marketing and a BA in Public Administration which I can use to start a career. My brother is being kind enough to let me stay at his place while I work at a friend's cleaning company until I find a job suited to my degrees. All I have to do is pay $200/month + a percentage of utilities. Should be a great stopgap. Oh and I am totally looking at getting a medical card so I can enjoy some herb.

You want to get out of that "Icebox" so you move to Colorado? Methinks you have your facts wrong.

I have lived in Colorado before, and that was for the better part of 13 years. When it snows there, it is usually gone within a few days due to the altitude and warm, dry climate. They do not experience days on end of temperatures reaching the negative teens. I don't enjoy waking up to see that it is -15 outside with a windchill closer to -40. A few days ago my brother said it was 64 degrees in Colorado Springs. So needless to say, you're an idiot and need to check your sources.

Also, try living in any part of Minnesota between December and February. We got a two-foot blizzard in mid-December and there are still remnants of it here. After you have done that, go live in Colorado Springs during that time period. You will not see a windchill of -40+.

I have come to the conclusion that you have the intellectual integrity of a grade school lad that has yet to see puberty. Enjoy that.

Lenny, if you're watching, please take it easy on me for trying to not rip apart this piece of shit know-it-all to the extent that you are well aware I am capable of.

You should move to Bakersfield.

That is the most dramatic thing that's happened all week.

Interesting read. Low crime is good I suppose.

Was something biting your dick? You shoved your first down his throat because of one remark. Control yourself.

Also why did you get earn two undergraduate degrees instead of one and one masters? You don't see that too often unless there was a dramatic change of interest in employment.

I almost banned Wallow (Skurai) just because I like HoH better. Also, Wallow, lern2english

Asamin 2013-01-25 09:33 PM

I did not know you lived in Minnesota. That changes things greatly.

FYI, you'll need the following to get a medical card in Colorado. Beyond that, you'll obviously need a doctor to say you need it.

All Documents must be currently valid!
At least one of these documents must show the applicant’s date of birth.

At least 1 of the following
Colorado Driver’s License
Colorado ID
Temporary Colorado Driver’s License
Temporary Colorado ID

Or at least 2 of the following

Minimum of 1 from the group of ID’s below -
Out of State Driver’s License
Out of State ID
Passport, Military ID, Tribal ID

And a Minimum of 1 from the group below -
Work Identification/paycheck stub/W-2
Utility bill, medical/insurance bill or cable bill
The above items must show a Colorado residence

I want to move to Bakersfield. :(

Good luck and all, HoH. I'm hoping I can move out of my state next year and transfer to a better 4 year school. Preferably some place with a casino so I can still find a job dealing while I go to school.

Wallow, I am an asshole and did happen to control myself. There is no filter. If you don't like it, ignore my posts.

---------------------------------------

I earned two degrees because I am interested in both fields. One is for the private sector, and another is for the public sector. If I have a change of heart about one vocation, then I will already have the credentials to go into another one. I am currently more interested in going into the field of marketing, but would one day like to be a city administrator or a campaign manager. I enjoyed both lines of work during my internships, so it would be absurd to limit myself. I'll go into the private sector and have them pay for a master's.

Thanks for the info K_A. With my current diagnosis I have been in talks with psychiatrists in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas and they say I shouldn't have a problem getting a card once I establish residency there next month. I am looking to use it therapeutically, so I'll be able to let you know what strains have what sorts of effects medically.
