So

Which is better: peanut butter or Nutella?

Lenny 2012-10-23 12:52 PM

When I was a child, we could buy what was known as "stripey" peanut butter - a chocolate peanut butter, available both in chunky and smooth. That was epic. They no longer make it. :(

I like the peanut butter mixed with kinds of Jelly. Like, it's a section of peanut butter, a section of jelly, peanut butter, jelly, and so on.

But Nutella is the best.

You could probably create some similar product pretty easily.

Nutella is good, so is crunchy peanut butter.

I like it's Jiffy has a chocolate peanut butter thing. It's like pseudo-Nutella

KagomJack 2012-10-23 03:44 PM

We had something like that peanut butter when I was a kid too. I used to eat it by the spoon.

Lenny 2012-10-23 04:22 PM

Forgot to say that it was "stripey" because the chocolate and peanut butter were swirled together in the jar.

I think we have a new jar of peanut butter in the fridge. And jam.

I think I'm going to eat lunch tomorrow.

So far Nutella seems to be most popular.

Asamin 2012-10-24 09:41 AM

Nutella is the best thing that ever happened.

All the Nutella love makes me happy.

ES FREUT MICH SEHR.

My mother (who was from Germany) is actually the one who introduced me to it, when I was little. A lil' but of mutter is in it.

Does this mean that ever jar of Nutella has the corpse of your mother ground up in it?

Why does everything with you have to be creepy.

KagomJack 2012-10-25 10:10 AM

This is Skurai we're talking about, Grav.

Skurai 2012-10-25 10:27 AM

That's not what I meant at all! o_O

KagomJack 2012-10-25 10:43 AM

I'm afraid that's how I understood it.

Skurai 2012-10-25 05:26 PM

I was going for a "Made with love", "Reminds me of my mother", etc., etc.

Lenny 2012-10-25 05:43 PM

Last night I had peanut butter sandwiches with some incredibly strong, but sublimely smooth, extra mature white cheddar. The kick from the cheese goes incredibly well with the nutty butteryness of the PB.

Today I found some strawberry jam in a cupboard in the basement, so I had peanut butter and jam sandwiches. As wonderful as PB and strong cheese is, it's kinda dry and sticky, but PB with jam is moist and it goes down easily.

Tomorrow, I think I'm going to try all three, with the cheese forming a layer that separates the PB from the jam.

KagomJack 2012-10-26 10:38 AM

Do not taint the PBJ with cheese. PB and cheese I could see working though.
