I start my new job tomorrow
 

So tomorrow I start at Best Buy. During my interview I wasn't told much about my position other than that it would be in computer sales.

Has anybody here worked at Best Buy before? What should I expect besides retarded customers? Is it a good place to work?

I worked (still work? Maybe) at Best Buy. Customer service. They're really hardcore about trying to get you to sell dumb attachments (service plans, etc) because it's where they get most of their margin. My bosses were never too terrible about hassling me on this, so I just sold the bare minimum not to get fired. Customers are quite stupid and irritating, although as customer service I at least had the power to fuck them over when I pleased.

haha lucky. How long do you have to wait for employee discount. I've heard 30 days and 90 days. And how much is it? I've heard 10% above wholesale and 5% above wholesale

It's 30 days and 5% over wholesale.
