That's...new? My shitty years old Dell that I replaced recently was better than that.

D3V 2008-12-02 03:33 PM

I hope this isn't your 2,000 computer, buddy. A tower like this costs about $200 bucks now-a-days

jamer123 2008-12-02 03:39 PM

this is mine

D3V 2008-12-02 03:51 PM

Who told you it was worth 2,000 bucks? Heh, tell your parents they are full of crap. But still, it is a decent machine and will run stuff on the internet without too much of a delay.

jamer123 2008-12-02 03:53 PM

no i checked online and thats what i found

!King_Amazon! 2008-12-02 04:12 PM

Did you look at the date? My dell, that was better than that, was only like $800, and it came with a monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers/etc. And that was in like 2002.

Kazilla 2008-12-02 04:28 PM

He doesn't have any.. he's an orphan.

Assuming that if you log into the compaq site to find future updates they will ask you for this number so they can indentify your exact computer.. wonder if anything fun could come of this if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

Maybe... What was the number of the card you used to purchase this badboy.

jamer123 2008-12-02 04:39 PM

How much was that laptop? Looks good.

Thanatos 2008-12-03 11:26 AM

It was about ~$1,050 but I only had to pay $300 on it.

Go to start -> run -> and type in "dxdiag". Copy the info that pops up.

This computer is going on 7 years old. It's mine.

D3V 2008-12-03 11:58 PM

That's gotta be sweet getting a brand new computer when you were 12.

Kazilla 2008-12-04 01:29 AM

Lol thats odd.. maybe it wasn't 7 years ago. I can't remember exactly, saw something in my control panel that said version 2002 so figured that was when they made it. Hrm, lets see... Must be 3 - 4 years old then.. I know I was in highschool.. don't remember exactly what year though freshmen or sophromore.
