My Champions Spec
2 Attachment(s)
Attachment 4796 Class
Attachment 4797 Alignment The champion overly exceeds in melee combat, even without any skill points to boost it. The battle cry you obtain through being right spec allows you to easily 1 shot the undeads in Helheim. The Dark Elves aren't much of a hassle either. Being pistol spec'd it allows you to easily clear the monsters before they get to close, it also allows you to deal with polarities in a more secure manner. The champion excels in every aspect of fighting on this game, and it is ideal to keep it that way. With starting pistols being the weak end of a champions stats, it makes sence to boost them up. I would probably suggest socketing your runes with some sort of melee or attack speed bonuses, along with maxing your ballistic firing rate. I would also suggest either improved reload speed or increased ammo. Try to socket some ballistic range in there as well, as the earlier you can start laying waste to the enemies, the more likely it is that you will live. The elite champions set doesnt exactly compliment this spec, so you might have better luck finding some ballistic open socket gear and customizing your own. |

I also thought of the wth is the point of playing the other classes... but then i realized this.
Champions - excel in melee and ballistic combat Commando - excel in ballistic combat Berserker - excel in melee combat Defender - excel in defensive abilities Bio Engineer - excel in supportive abilities Well, if i roll a commando, im going to suck in melee, and if i roll a berserker Garm is going to be 1 hell fo a bitch, so i will roll my dps, tank, and healer. I think the berserker and commando classes are for die-hard fans of the spec. those who love to do melee or ballistic |

commando's can do some wicked damage very quickly - i actually thought about ditching my champion for one before i became amazing ;)
|
I would hate my Berserker too if I was just doing the same thing over and over, but really if you go Middle spec and focus on maneuverability instead of just damage. It a TON more fun, but it takes a lot more skill with the game, which is why a lot of people don't see how good Mid can be.

is that the speed battle cry? if so i wouldnt care how much weaker it made me - running fast on a game where everyone runs slow = win berserkers with the speed h4x make my world go round
|
Yup, that and it doesn't rely on dual wields. I can use whatever I want!
|
call me biased but - depending on the class im playing i will only use certain weapons.
berserker = only duals and rifles defender = only hammer&shield and rifles champion = swords (1h and 2h) and pistols commandos = staff and pistols/rifles bio engineer = hammer and rifles/cannons |
The thing is, dual staves are nice for smacking around a big group of enemies, but say you need air kills (charm I want takes 12000 of them). Switch to a hammer and whack them to bits. Or a 1her for 1 hit slide kills on everything. Things like this make weapons switching a good idea as mid spec. AZN FTW is gonna have it all in his guide when he makes it, so it will be more clear then.

could you try to get him to post it here? sounds like he is very knowledgable and it would be a great asset.
