I got my tonsils removed today.
 

At 25, this is some of the most incredible discomfort I've ever felt. They took out my adenoids too, but what's really killing me are the gaping pits where part of my throat used to be.

Well, at least I've got three weeks off work. It'll give me a chance to take a chunk out of my videogame backlog. Fun times.

I haven't got wisdoms taken out or tonsils. I hope both of these work out fine with my body and I don't have to loose either of them.

I had my tonsils removed a few years ago. The first week is the worst.


You would think it wouldn't, but even water stings like a bitch. I recommend mango juice though, it's surprisingly soothing. And get your hands on some percocet.

yea i got mine removed too. lived off of applesauce for like 2 weeks lol. it sucks, but at least its harder to get strep now

Already got the Percocet, Mantra. I'm high as a kite as we speak.
