snes

Basically, this is more of a request. What i need is titles for some good SNES RPG games, currently the only ones i have are Chrono Trigger and Tales of Phantasia. I already found a site full of rpgs, fighters, etc for the SNES. Just throw out some titles that you think were good rpg's for the snes.

Final Fantasy 3, Illusions of Gaia, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Breath of Fire, I know I'm forgetting a ton because I'm doing this off of the top of my head. I'll let you know if I come up with any more.

Super Mario RPG.

FF II, 7th Saga, Earthbound

The only one you need is Chrono Trigger, sheesh.

Coriander 2008-03-22 08:25 PM

True, Chrono Trigger is badass, but Tales of Phantasia, and the ones the other people listed are also good..except IMO 7th-saga, i didn't really like it.

Super Mario RPG.

My friend and I used to play that game all the time back in the day.

I also have heard only good things about Super Mario RPG.

SoulBlazer

Forgot Lufia II. It had a surprisingly compelling storyline for a 16 bit game. The first one was alright too.

KagomJack 2008-04-18 09:03 PM

It's a fun game.

Even if ET is not an rpg, never get it for the SNES. It's probably the worst game ever made.

KagomJack 2008-04-19 01:22 PM

I think that was on Atari.

Vault Dweller 2008-04-19 07:22 PM

If you really wanted one, I'm sure you could dig up an Atari ET cartridge...somewhere in New Mexico.
