One dimensional characters. Inappropriate underlying religious theme. (While robbing a church, the protagonists find god.) White and black stereotypes. Lame scripting. Seems like the writers (if any) weren't sure which way the movie was going to go halfway through, and it takes a turn for the worse.
I don't think I laughed once during the film, which is pretty bad for a comedy. However, two or three girls to our left laughed hysterically every single time Katt Williams spoke, regardless of what he was saying. That didn't help.
This mini-review puts it well: "It plods along at a sluggard's pace through a weak premise with crude execution and even cruder characters to arrive at an unearned sentimental ending."
The movie basically borrowed from everything lame about movies and threw it together. Twenty minutes in, I had no idea if I was actually watching a movie or not.
