that's awesome, I was banned 5 times for profanity before they closed my first account, Lmao.

Well, what the "profanity" was variously ridicculous.

I believed that I called somebody a "jewboy" or something after I got ganked, in regular speak.

I dropped the F*** bomb in General chat in IF one time.. and I think.

Well, I was generally entertained, so it wasn't really a waste of money.

Whatever you say, man. I suppose if you don't mind it then there's no harm done.

I personally refrain because I know there are both 12 year olds and parents of 12 year olds just about everywhere you go in WoW and they will all readily report you given the chance.

Well I was a newbie coming off of Diablo 2 where profanity was allowed and nobody gave a shit, I found that out after /Y spamming in Ironforge, I'll post my e-mails eventually, they're all pretty funny.

I eventually caved after about 3 weeks and got another account, which is currently in use by a buddy of mine, well, I bought it off of him, and now he's in control of my 70 drood again, oh well. I'm never going back.

Thats so fucking stupid. Like those people don't hear curse words 20x a day IRL. Whats the fucking point of being so damn carebear!

Because they'd likely get a 'Mature' rating instead of 'Teen' if they didn't include this rule, which would have cut down sales.

Oh. Well that makes plenty of sense I suppose. Although it seems strange the graphic violence and bloodshed are within Teen territory but Public language crosses the line.

Well, I'm sure they have a 'score' and Blizzard probably toed the line enough with in-game alcohol/violence/etc that enforcing a language rule would be the easiest and least game-compromising in their eyes to keep a 'Teen' rating.

That and their females dance like hookers.

And they enabled a /moan and /flirt.

This is obviously to promote roleplaying in the Deeprun Tram, get with the times.

Blah, that's above 'Teen' rating then.

That was my argument when they took my mage's name from me. I mean honestly ...turdfurgeson ...what's so bad about that? Omg it has 'turd' in it!!

Yeah I tried arguing with them through e-mails, eventually they told me they were going to stop responding to me, assholes.
