New Zelaron Melee
 

What would you guys think about getting a new Zelaron Melee started up? For those of you who weren't around or don't know what Zelaron Melee is, we pretty much nominate a bunch of video game/comic/movie/book/whatever characters, and start a tournament with them. Then, for each battle, people argue who they think would win and why.

I would be mostly willing to do most of the work involved. I know Raziel has been lurking around lately and it would be absolutely awesome if he decided to do it again, or at least participate.

Will we need designated judges? Or can we just have a board conensus kinda thing with wheover gives a shit?

Either judges or a poll. Either would work, IMO.

Just out of curiosity, why do we need the tournament style?
Why can't we just have Zelaron Melee subforum where people can make whoever vs. whoever and we have a panel of all-purpose judges or a poll.
If there were a lot of topics that would be made, I can see why the judges thing wouldn't work. Afterall, reviewing over several topics and getting in touch with the other judges be time consuming. But I really don't think there'll be that many topics at a time.

Besides, the building up of the tournament style Zel Melee is very misleading. In all the "pick characters" threads before the actual start of the tourney, far more people suggested shit than actually participated. So I just don't see it being worth it IMO.
