Ramen Noodles? Love or Hate

Love or Hate them?

I definately am still in LOVE with them, how awesome something so cheap can keep you going all day at work. I love ramen noodles, but know alot of people that have lived off of them through college and say they'll never touch those bastards again..

What do you guys think?

I used to eat it a lot until I became cognizant of the insane amount of sodium contained therein.

HandOfHeaven 2007-08-20 01:13 PM

I prefer rice. Ramen gets old after a few bags.

D3V 2007-08-20 01:13 PM

Yeah that little packet is a hell spawn.

Love.
Easy and tastey

Comes and goes for me. Sometimes I'll eat 1-2 bricks a day, and then I burn out on it and even thinking about eating it makes me sick, but then it comes back a few months later.

My girlfriend actually eats them dry, and sprinkles the crushed up flavoring on it.. made my stomach hurt, I'm pretty sure they need to be cooked.

!King_Amazon! 2007-08-20 01:34 PM

I've eaten them dry before, not with the seasoning though. It just tastes kinda like a cracker. It's not bad, actually, not what you would expect an uncooked noodle to taste like. It's alright when you're really baked and don't feel like cooking it.

D3V 2007-08-20 01:35 PM

Yeah I suppose, I actually microwave mine sometimes when I don't feel like boiling water and scrweing around for 'bout 10 minutes with it.

HandOfHeaven 2007-08-20 01:36 PM

Anyone eat Cup O Noodles with the veggies in it?

D3V 2007-08-20 01:37 PM

Yeah, they're fucking gross, those aren't even veggies they're colored cardboard.

Sovereign 2007-08-20 01:53 PM

Love.

Add water and eat. Yum.

Don't like the ones that come in those pacakges where you have to throw them in a bowl. The ones that come in styrofoam are nice.

-Spector- 2007-08-20 01:55 PM

I like them but they get old very fast... I think it's the flavoring though.

D3V 2007-08-20 01:58 PM

Ramen has like 20 different flavors, though most of the stores only care Chicken and Beef.

HandOfHeaven 2007-08-20 01:58 PM

I'm surprised they have a Shrimp Flavoring. Shrimp taste like nothing.

-Spector- 2007-08-20 02:12 PM

I love shrimp, I'll have to try that flavor out

D3V 2007-08-20 02:50 PM

I'm suprised so many people Love 'em still, guess we haven't had them enough, or as in large enough amounts as some of the people I know, lmao.

Hunsy 2007-08-20 02:56 PM

I love ramen, it is quick and easy at home. I also like to go to the traditional Japanese restaurant that is around my area and get some of the REAL ramen they have there, you know, the kind that actually has, fresh, non-dried meat and veggies in it.

D3V 2007-08-20 03:02 PM

Yeah I hear yeah, the legit shit is really, really good.

!King_Amazon! 2007-08-20 03:05 PM

I've always wanted to try real ramen. Maybe I'll look into finding some around here.
