Is it worth it?
 

I was thinking about getting a PS3, but is it really worth it? I mean, I could get the computer that Grav advertised in another thread for the same price. What games would be good? Is Guitar Hero 3 coming out for just it, or for the PS2? Lenny, I do expect a reply from you most definitely!

GH3 is being released for XBox360,PS3,PS2, and IIRC Wii.

If you do get a PS3 you should wait until after Christmas. I heard it was going down in price then.

Yay, I may have some money by then! Hoping to get a nice job working 16-20 hours on the weekend and save up for something. It's going to be either a laptop or PS3. Thanks for the advice though; when I got my first MP3 player it went down 50 bucks the next day. :(

Eh I don't think any of the new systems are worth getting.

I guess I've just gotten way too used to my computer and mmorpgs.

I haven't seen one yet. Is it really that high quality? I think I'll be sticking to DVDs for awhile.

Console games don't appeal much to me anymore, I have a hard time finding a game that looks interesting. The only things I can really stand to play on a console anymore are fighter games and single player RPGs, which don't seem to be too popular anymore (except for the monthly Final Fantasy).

It's very difficult for them to keep producing games that are appealing to a large demographic... I'm just waiting for a price drop personally. Blu Ray is the new wave of how discs are going to be used, it's just been really slow so far in it's begenning.

So were DVDs in the beginning as well. ;)
