Jung personality test

What is your profile?

I'm an architect rational (INTP). I swear all professions on the list below sound great to me, with three exceptions:

I'm also INTP.

!King_Amazon! 2007-07-29 09:50 PM

ISTP here.

RoboticSilence 2007-07-29 11:11 PM

Also INTP, not surprised.

Vollstrecker 2007-07-30 01:25 AM

I scored iNTj. /shrug

Mastermind Rational

MightyJoe 2007-07-30 09:52 AM

ENFJ long enough post now

Chruser 2007-07-30 10:29 AM

I guess that makes most of us assassins, thinkers and despots.

Demosthenes 2007-07-30 10:50 AM

Who's the official assassin around here these days anyway?

Vault Dweller 2007-07-30 10:56 AM

INTJ also.

I'm not sure I agree with this test. Too many of the questions are vague or could elicit differing answers based on situational variables, the primary one in my case being whether or not I'm at work.

!King_Amazon! 2007-07-30 11:47 AM

Yeah, this test kinda sucks. The one grav posted recently is a lot better.

ENTJ wasn't really paying attention to the questions very much, i'm slammed at work as usual, but it basically scored me in moderately of every section.

moderately expressed extravert
moderately expressed intuitive personality
moderately expressed thinking personality
moderately expressed judging personality

I'm curious what "types" you guys will be. Go for it.

http://www.personalitytype.com/quiz.asp

Read the personality profiles here when you're done (they are more in depth):

http://www.personalitypage.com/portraits.html

PiMPiNReDHaTMaN: how do I choose both
GravitonSurge: pick the one you feel would be more natural for you, without the bias of society
GravitonSurge: not what you LEARNED to act like

There you go.

Chruser 2007-07-30 12:41 PM

Same result. I'd rather see a longer test which doesn't make your choices so obvious.

!King_Amazon! 2007-07-30 12:53 PM

Your choices are obvious based on your personality type. What seems obvious to you would be opposite for someone else. Rather than everything being vague to everyone.

Chruser 2007-07-30 04:12 PM

Obvious as in allowing you to visibly choose your results. There's a chance of bias if you're familiar with the different personality types already, which may, for instance, make the test taker more subconsciously inclined to choose N over S.

Yeah, I got a different result from Grav's test.

INTP as opposed to INTJ. /shrug

Oh, just in case any of you wanted to seduce me:
How to Love an INTP

Respect my privacy and independence.
Appreciate my competencies and wealth of creative ideas.
Encourage me to spend time alone.
Don't talk too much or force an emotional conversation before I'm ready.
Try not to nag me about being messy or meeting deadlines.
Above all - give me plenty of space to pursue my interests in depth and time to think things through.

D3V 2007-07-30 05:50 PM

Rofl. Nice..... I'ma have to redo my test.

Grav 2007-07-30 06:07 PM

Got the same thing again.

Some of the questions were actually hard to answer for me because the wording made me inclined to pick both. A more subtle approach than "A or B" is probably better.
