I actually started playing Flyff a few days ago. It's not bad, really, but it seems like a complete rip-off of Ragnarok Online, with lower quality.

I mean, it's a fun game, but the translations are HORRIBLE, shit is bugged out like crazy(like the starting tutorial thing, you have to do all kinds of crazy rigged up shit just to get through the first bit of it, and then you ultimately get stuck at the "Quest Menu" part, where you're supposed to open your quest menu to continue. It doesn't continue.)

There doesn't really seem to be much of an economy at all. It's really hard for a noob to figure out what price to sell things at.

The quests descriptions are absolutely no help in finishing the quests. If it weren't for fansites, I don't think this game would even have ended up playable for me. A good example is the quest where you have to find the dog in Leren Mountains or whatever, and that's all it says. Leren Mountains is friggin huge to be finding a dog with no sort of hint as to where it is.

Also, it seems like the player base is somewhere around 10 years old. evry1 types lyk dis. And there's like 5billion spanish speaking people on there.

That's what I've gotten from it so far through playing it. I still find it mostly enjoyable, if somewhat annoying at times. Recently though, I downloaded Ragnarok Online and started playing that again.

I've never played Ragnarok Online so i wouldn't know but on the point of the quests, the tutorial, and the dog quest i have somethings to say: First i find that you honestly don't need the tutorial. If you are intelligent enough (no offense of course) it is quite simple to figure out how to play, the controls are very simple. Also quests in Flyff especially the Public Office quests and Flaris quests in general besides red bang and dradpet are retarded. But also i believe the public office quests besides perhaps the ones in darkon aren't that good. On the dog quest from Flaris the quest specificly it says in the quest window that the dog is at the MIDDLE Leren MOuntains by the GROWNUP LAWOLVES which are in a specific spot in the Leren Mountains so it does tell you practically exactly where it is. Also i have seen and heard of many 15 to 30 year olds to play Flyff but they are generally higher lvls. Also yes their are an ass load of foreign speaking people which play. One last point, the reason people talk in abbreiviations is because it is a game where you don't have to talk fully which would take to long to type.

I played Flyff on my laptop (I cant since my laptop died) I played on Mia and got to lvl 19, Flyff is a bit like WoW though. theres alotta people on xfire who play flyff and play for a long time just to get their hours up or they are addicted, ppl idle in that game cuz they want to sell items, so they leave their character there overnight n jus sell items. A friend on xfire recently stopped playing WoW and moved on to Flyff.
