Problems with BattleCharsets.
I made a palette change of the Solder RTP BattleCharset to make him into a Necromancer. However, in gameplay, the default cyan in the background of every other BattleCharset shows up on him as a box around him. It's really quite ugly, and it makes no sense, since it even shares the same hex color values as the other BattleCharsets.
Someone please help me, I'm getting very frustrated. Thanks. ... Oh, BTW: Here's the source for my BattleCharsets; might be some help to those trying to help me (if anyone even decides to do anything about it, lol). Thanks, guys. Part 1 Part 2 |
Did you import it using the import feature, and set the transparent colour, or did you change the original file and overwrite it? That could be your problem - if you've not imported it and set the transparent colour, then I don't think it'll get rid of the background.
Btw, which RPG Maker are you using? I'll guess at RM2K3, yeah? |
I think that's overly apparent.

Doesn't matter if it's overly apparent - people who might be new to it do it a lot. Hell, I used to do it all the time. :p
