I don't mean to sound demanding or anything, but is there ever a hope of someone on the internet creating a site for catalogging what you've seen and what you haven't in a more... Non-retarded and backwards fashion?

A combination of AnimeNewsNetwork and AniDB's systems, except with more intuitive UI design. I'd be willing to contribute building the backend database if such a project was undertaken. But honestly, I can't even remember what I've seen :(

Well, what I really need is a designer, if I'm to undertake the project. I can handle the coding with little trouble, but I'm not so good at coming up with the interface and mechanics on my own.

Depending on your bandwidth constraints, maybe an online manga viewing option? =D
