This woman gets slashed to hell and her dad brutally murdered. The house is turned into something that looks like a slaughterhouse. 10 years later they are sentencing him. She pleads to the judge and jury (against the judges orders) not to give him death. When they come back and give him life, she goes up and says its the happiest day of her life.

Talking about slashy films and what not... well, blood and guts... they're making a sequel to 28 Days Later -- 28 Weeks Later which, surprisingly, takes place 28 weeks after the original event.

Just thought I'd throw that in...

Well even though I know this isn't why she's happy, I've always thought life in prison without a chance to get out ever would be a worse punishment than death. Death gets it over with quick and painlessly, life in prison would fucking suck.
