Yeah, it's gay. I used to download the .gvp file and open it up with Notepad. Then it would show the link the .avi file so I can download it to my computer. But now it shows like 20 Youtube links and one Google Video Link. :(.

Yeah, it was a nice way of working around the fact that you have to pay google $$$ to download their files. Pwnt bitches. ^^ I know there was a way to download YouTube videos, dunno if it still works though.

Firefox is a plugin that I know can dl youtube vids, dont' know about google. Says it can but I've never tried it.

Type the URL of the video into the box on the page, and it records it and gives you a link to download the video as a .flv file. Of course, you need a .flv player to play the videos. Or convert them to .wmv or .avi and play them in that format instead.

You can use VLC media player. It'll play .flv decently.
