Getting Xbox Live
 

Just for anyone/everyone's FYI, I now have an Xbox, Halo 1 and 2, and high speed internet, so I'm working on getting Xbox live so I can play some Halo 2 online, Nikki might even play with me. Maybe I'll see some of you online.

Excellent, more players is always a good thing. You might have to work at catching some of us while we're online, but it's worth it when you do.

Right now I'm visiting a friend at UConn and using her laptop. Typically when I'm posting I'm either at a college visiting friends or I'm at someone else's house. Occasionally I get on at my parent's house.

So I'm probably going to pick up an xbox live starter kit if I can find one(with Xbox360 out now I dunno how hard it will be). Is that the best deal out there? I would think so since it comes with a year subscription and a headset and usually a free game I think.

Yah. The price of the subscription is the same no matter how you pay for it, and you may get a deal on the headset with a package deal.

Someone was asking me, the other day, what the difference is between Bronze, Silver and Gold member accounts... and I hadn't the foggiest.

So, what are the differences between the three?

I've seen gold cards for Xbox360. I don't think there is Bronze, Silver, and Gold for the Xbox on Xbox live(at least I've never seen them.) It's most likely an Xbox 360 thing.
