Indian Call Centres

over the last 1-2 Months i've been getting so many calls from these indian call centres with indians trying to put on fake australian accents and saying stuff liek gooday mate etc. i got major pissed off after the few weeks, but now i just mess around with them and keep them on the phone for as long as possible and talk shit, when its a female i sometimes just ask them stupid questions and bring it up to "so.. what are you wearing?" and shit like that lol, that ussually makes them wanto hang up but i still keep them on the fone. messing with them is funny shit.

anyone else get fone calls from these bitches?

Well, seeing as most of us live in North America or Europe, I highly doubt it.

When a solicitor calls my house, I usually mess around with them quite a bit. I'll have friends start making noise and then just be like 'Hold On' and yell stupid shit at them knowing the solicitor can hear me. 'GODDAMNIT! You get back into the closet you bastard! Don't make me get my belt!' Just stupid stuff like that.

I don't pick up calls from numbers IDK on my cell. Same with my home line.

Actually, we see it as a good omen if we get a call from an English Call Centre.

Half of them you can't understand, and the other half are so cheeky that you want to put a brick through their house. Other than that, yeah, it can be fun to mess around with them.

My dad told me about some scam ( i dont know if its true or not, i have never cared to double check it) that some foreign numbers were calling people in the us and the cost for staying connected was a few thousand dollars a minute. The people in the US don't know this so the guy on the other side would try to keep the line up as long as they could.

Of course this could be complte horseshit, but I'm going by what my dad said.

There's always a chance. But would it not cost the call centre that much, unless they asked for reverse charges?

Someone told me about that too, but wouldn't you think you would hear about people sueing the companys in the news?
