Play my new game!

Please play my new game, Wild Kings! It's for rm2k3 and I've been working on it for a couple of years now. You can download it at http://www.mookfarm.com/wildkings.html ... actually if you go to www.mookfarm.com you can even download videos and stuff like that, we're a community of Entertainers. Now this game doesn't have any original graphics of my own, but it's very heavy on story. Also it's vulgar so don't bring your kids. Hope you like it.

Hmmm, the screenshots look pretty interesting.

I like there:

"If it's the last thing I do I'll spread that you don't eve have a fireplace."

I'll download it, but I won't be able to play it for a couple of weeks - revising.

I'm in the mood to install RM2K again, although it's a shame I don't have much time for playing games these days. Either way, good luck with the game kylebstiff. Nice writing on your site too!

Sure, why not?

What kind of plot does it have? Humorous, serious, nonsensical?

llamallover2021 2006-06-02 03:54 PM

I like your name, Kyle B. Stiff, isn't that from American Pie or something? Anyway, I'll try and play you're game.

Jessifer 2006-06-18 08:25 PM

Has anyone else played this? :weird: Curious.

MightyJoe 2006-06-18 11:18 PM

<-has not played it.

Jessifer 2006-06-19 03:26 PM

Oh...

...I can't find the Fifth Element. :(

kylebstiff 2006-06-22 01:31 PM

Hey man, take yo' time. I've been working on it for so long, I think I can wait a few days (or weeks or months) for feedback.

Well, it has a serious storyline, but it's full of funny stuff, too. Wee wee and poo poo jokes galore. But if you stick with it, I'm hoping that it has enough inspirational and terrifying themes to psychologically break down any gamer's soul. And did I mention there are poo jokes, too?

Yeah, but only people I know personally. So, suspicions of "fan" bias have some grounding. However, one guy who's played it through twice, he's a pretty serious gamer and lacks patience for games lacking in the fun department. And he loves Wild Kings! He's given serious thought to paying me money so I can quit my job and work on the game; but no such luck, my wallet is still a vacuum.

Sorry I didn't see your email earlier, I get a lot of spam and I guess I just distrusted the email... hopefully I was able to answer your question. And did you think the path leading up the mountain to Sparta was too hard? I was trying to make it more of any enemy-avoidance situation, cause I don't like it when, in RPGs, it's always expected that you should fight every enemy. Real life doesn't work like that... sometimes you just have to survive. Until you get mad powerful, that is. Then it's time for sweet, sweet revenge!

The thing is... it's my real name! In grade school and high school I took so much heat from my name that I swore I'd change it as soon as I was old enough to legally do so. Then I realized it was the coolest name in the world. So, I'm sticking with it. People don't even bother to nickname me anymore; my own name is ridiculous enough. My dad was also a "B. Stiff" but nobody in his generation really thought it was funny. We live in more boner-oriented times.

I don't know whether to say "Lucky you" or "Poor you". :p

Well, I've finished my exams now, so I'll give the game a blast through over the weekend.

Jessifer 2006-06-23 12:28 PM

Actually, I didn't mind the route to Sparta. It was actually kinda fun. It kept me on my toes. I died many times...many many times. Usually when I was debating on whether or not to use a bandage or not, for fear of needing it later on. It took me quite a few tries to defeat that lizard guy. That area is almost like a strategy game, imo.

In the end...there was not a monster left on that damn trail. I destroyed every last one of them. Moohaha!

And Rand's skills are cool. Useful. I was kinda sad to find that the game wasn't finished. :(
