Activity goes up at the same rate. The difference is that daily activity is measured between more sane times for people in the states.

Why cant it just be set for your local time... because well me and S2 AM and Lenny and Chruser and undeadzombieguy and probally alot more live on different continents from you guys. I actually live 11 timezones away from my family :p
