If you could rewrite the ending to a series...
 

Which series would it be and what would you change about it's ending?

For some reason my mind is drawing a blank on series that I've watched with shitty endings... I know I really disliked Green Green's ending but not enough to warrent a rewrite ( I never saw the OVA episode 13 though). Damn it.

Last Exile.

Not that the ending was bad but the last 6 episodes could easily be stretched out over a whole season.

Cowboy Bebop.

In my ending no one would die and the group would not split up either and we would continue to season 2.

Season 3.

I would rewrite the end of Friends, and have Courtney Cox and Jeniffer Aniston have great lesbian sex. That would have been amazing. Oh and it would be on HBO so tits and ass could be seen.

I didn't know Friends was produced in Japan... and animated.

This is easy, I would continue Getbackers. The way that show ended is the biggest tragedy in anime history.

That and Kare Kano both deserve continuations.

Gungrave. Although, I actually loved the ending, it was the stuff leading up to the ending that I wasn't such a fan of. I disliked the fact that Grave lost his costume during the fight with Lee, I wasnt happy that he lost the Coffin during the fight with Bear, I didn't like how brief the battles with Bear and Bunji were, and I felt that the toppling of Harry's regime was done too rapidly.

I loved how the first half of the series was all backstory, so it gave the events of the game and the second half of the series more emotional weight. However, I was expecting a lot more action during the second half, and I certainly wasn't expecting Grave to be seen in costume for a lousy five episodes. I loved the series, but I would have done a lot of stuff differently.

Oh, and I'm sure I would have liked the ending to Wolf's Rain a lot more if it had made some damned sense.

They definitely can do a better job on Hunter x Hunter ending. I don't know what... but it was just too boring for an action comedy anime to end in a cheesy “I found my dad” ending.

DBZ. I would have made it stop there, and not continue with DBGT, very boring show.

It didn't. DBGT is just fan fiction. I pretend it doesn't exist.

I liked GT, but I would end DBZ at Cell he would be the last of Z. I did not like Gohan after that I thougt he was bad ass as a teen it should of stayed at that. I also liked gohan in the history of trunks movie they should of made him like that. Buu was weak it got good when kid buu came, and GT should of ended with android 17 from hell.
