Bungie hasn't even admitted that they are making it yet.

They haven't admitted they are collaborating on a Halo Movie either, but everyone is already discussing its release and I hear bungie plans to release ver.3 with the movie. So it will probably be late this year or early next year...

If both come out around the same time, i might as well drop out of school. Nothing will stop me from playing the game or seeing the movie 12 times.

Yes they have. If you look through Bungie's old news posts, they talk about Bungie staffers going to Hollywood to meet with Peter Jackson (the executive producer), and how they made this massive book entitled the "Halo Bible" that contains tons of information on everything in the Halo universe to help keep the movie accurate.

As do I, but I don't think its possible to get your hands on a copy of it without the right connections to Bungie.

Well, for those who can't get enough Halo, look at the bright side. It's a Peter Jackson movie. This guy can't make a movie less than 3.5 hours long. Time for plenty of action.
