USe TV as Monitor?
How do you use your TV as monitor? My vid card as a S-Out and It came with a S-Vid cable that connects to the port and on the other end has another S-Out and three different cables, red, green and blue.
I checked and my TV does not have anywhere to connect the S-video, but it does have the AV input holes (yellow, white...those you connect ps2 and stuff to) so how do I use my tv as monitor? |
You can't.

Just play with the wires i bet the red one is audio R just play around it should work... i don't remember those colors but i remember hooking up my comp to tv |
Those are composite cables(i believe that's what they are called), in otherwords it seperates the "image" up into the three colours that is natural to the tubes in tv's)obviously tube tv's, not LCD, etc). I believe you can by an adapter that switches them to yellow video and or s-video. Those cables should only give you picture and not sound. My DVD player has composite in as well as my tv.

That is why you read my post, I know what I am talking about in this situation. Not to be an ass or anything. I assume you do as well.
My school has a bunch of the adapters I mentioned earlier. I thought about taking one, they just sit around never being used. But then again, is it worth stealing? |
Is it really stealing if you return it?

You don't want to, unless it's an HD TV, normal TVs are at 320x240
