Yah, but you have to factor in the fact that most of us have spent large amounts of time using a QWERTY keyboard. You don't ignore years worth of muscle memory just like that.

Would it be possible for me to physically rearrange the keys on my keyboard and change some kind of setting to make it a DVORAK keyboard? I'm interested in trying it not, not so interested in buying a new keyboard.

In reality, all you have to do is change the input method in Windows, but to help, especially in the beginning, I really recommend you pop off your keys and change it that way also.

That's my board, notice the un-even-ness on the right. That's because I jewed out and just haxed an old board

It is, but the sig is smaller than the pic because of size restraints.

You'll notice mine is uneven as well(where the old homerow keys were, and where they are now.)

I'm too lazy to make myself a sig, but if anyone wants to do it for me feel free and I'll join the DVORAK crew.

A true master at work=typing QWERTY with a DVORAK layout. Which I'm doing.

I didn't want the keys to be upside down, I had no choice, they would only go on that way.

You wouldve been cooler if you didnt tell us that about the keys only fitting that way.

I'm actually thinking about turning ALL of my keys upside-down but that would require that I customize every single key and that's too much work.

Apparently, thousands of words can be typed with just the home row, which means less finger movement. It also eliminates "one handed words" like "agree".
