We're all going to die.

Almost seems fake to me...

!King_Amazon! 2005-09-23 02:59 PM

Just a theory, and it doesn't make much sense to me, information escaping a black hole and eating everything in its path?

Only thing interesting to me was the year of impact with earth.

HandOfHeaven 2005-09-23 03:09 PM

People shouldn't panic until all the facts are in. Then, and only then can they panic.

-Spector- 2005-09-23 03:14 PM

They can panic whenever they want.... but they'd look stupid if they did it now

Mantralord 2005-09-23 03:17 PM

It's a Weekly World News article. Move along.

KagomJack 2005-09-23 04:45 PM

Dont' diss the lameness of the WWN!

Medieval Bob 2005-09-23 05:00 PM

Lol. So the black hole that it originated from is 28,000 light years from here, but it's going to get here in 9 years?

Jamesadin 2005-09-23 08:14 PM

Weekly World News. Believe everything they say.

And you have a good point, Bob.

PS: I think they are running out of ideas...

Sovereign 2005-09-23 08:17 PM

Cuz it izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Paradox_Knight 2005-09-23 10:36 PM

I'd rather stay away from news, often enough they only contain rather depressing things and with the limited amount of time we live, it's best not to worry too much about a bit extra that's kind of useless and out of our power anyways.

Paradox_Knight 2005-09-23 11:19 PM

You know, I just hate it when I accidentally double post something... In any case, what else is interesting around here.

!King_Amazon! 2005-09-23 11:51 PM

Oh, I didn't even notice it was from WWN, it's obviously fake then...

Lenny 2005-09-24 02:44 AM

Ha! What an article... :p

That's astronomer's for ya. Spend so much time with their heads in the clouds that they lose their minds... :p

PureRebel 2005-09-24 05:46 AM

its most likely fake.. they say all about it hitting our galaxy then..
"The existence of this so called chaos cloud is only a theory. Americans shouldn't panic until all the facts are in."

and they wouldnt be saying the exact date if they didnt know.. and its impossible to tell from where we are and how far away the thing is. they would be saying 2014'ish insead of :15 a.m. EDT on June 1, 2014.
obviously a piece of shit..

and saying they wont make it public just yet.. they've already made it Public by releasing it on the internet.. even tho not many people know about it .. it still is!

Penny_Bags 2005-09-24 10:50 AM

HAHAHAH... I can't believe some of you people even gave this shit the time of day!

Just read this! "The good news is that this finding confirms several cutting- edge ideas in theoretical physics," announced Dr. Albert Sherwinski, a Cambridge based astrophysicist with close ties to NASA.

LMAO. That's comedy gold. Also the title is in ALL CAPS AND WITH AN EXCLAMATION POINT!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA

PureRebel, way to go. You spent way too much time validating your ballsy statement that this is obvious bullshit.

Jessifer 2005-09-24 11:13 AM

"Some scientists say mankind's best hope would be to build a "space ark" and hightail it to the Andromeda Galaxy, 2.1 million light-years away."

Amusing. I needed a good laugh. ^_^

RoboticSilence 2005-09-24 03:33 PM

"It's produced when an electron- positron pair are at the event horizon of a black hole," Dr. Sherwinski explained. "The intense curvature of space-time of the hole can cause the positron to fall in, while the electron escapes."

This happens but escaped electrons don't destroy stars. This is pretty funny.
