Once you've had HALO 2 you never go back
Ya stick to HALO 2. I was looking through DeLong's CD case, and I saw Ghost Recon 2. I thought: Hmm, why not, I haven't played this hardly at all, I bet the online experience will be rich and fullfilling. Couldn't have been more wrong. I basically spent.. let me rephrase that, I wasted two hours of my life trying to get into a game period. I got in one game, but it only lasted about 5 minutes, and if they were shooting for realism, they missed the mark. It doesn't have a matchmaking system, and the game continually froze. I personally feel that since I sat for two hours and didn't play one single enjoying game, I am entitled to call this game Grade A Bullshit, without being considered close-minded. It had its chance. In fact, just so Tom Clancy doesn't make anymore money and sell anymore crap like this to unsuspecting customers such as DeLong, I'm not boycotting Tom Clancy everything, from Rainbow Six sequels, to books, to Condoms. If Tom Clancy condoms are anything like this game, I'll be paying my whole check to some bitch in child support in no time.

I too have tried this game online once, and yes, only once. I wasn't able to sit through 2 hours of that shit, but I did attempt it for about 30 minutes. It sucks. Period.
Halo 2 rules! |
everything to do with internet gaming sucks, except x-box live. Me and JR played Doom 3 over the net and it was just as good as halo. Im really looking foward to Halo 3 and the online gaming with the new x-box

lol i bought doom for myself and smith just so he would play it, but we got about ten minutes in and smith just started fuckin around and shooting me and i got mad and we havnt played it since...
The thing about smith is, you really cant play games with him in r/l, he is extremely picky and questions everything, it gets so annoying. I played Ghost Recon 2 a couple times online and I liked it, I was playing 1 on 1 sniper battles, that was fun. |

Lol no you shot me first. Besides, if anyone here has played DOOM III co-op, you know what I'm talking about. I mean, cmon. You start at the level's spawn, and have infinite lives to spawn there. Then you go through the level and kill everything, it's not like the story and it's definitely very cheesy. DOOM III itself I gave about 5 hours of my life to, and I was highly disappointed at the redundancy. You can only blast zombies/wtf are those things shooting fire rays, for so long before it gets lame. The weapons are shallow and pedantic, too.
Like Homer says, "Why would I want Purina when I got Fancy Feast right here?" |
I played DOOMIII co-op with gruesome over my home network, and I'll never forget hearing him scream when something popped out of a wall at him. Of course, it was pitch black outside with surround sound. Needless to say, I got pretty startled at some moments too...
|
yea i startled him so bad that he screamed and started to shoot in every direction possible. It made me laugh
|
I'd have horrible nightmares after something like that. I hallucinate badly in my sleep. After a week of work, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night looking for the mixer frantically because the music isn't playing anymore only to realize I'm at home in bed and the station isn't even on the air.
