I'm going to order a couple bikes from this site, unless of course any of you can find a reason not to trust them..

Which is why I posted this, how do I know if I can trust them?

badboy 2005-07-10 07:08 PM

Buy from them, that's how.

Adrenachrome 2005-07-10 07:18 PM

Yea spend $900 to find out if they're gonna rip me off or not, that's just great.

Isn't there a government section that has records of all legitament buisness'?

Adrenachrome 2005-07-11 10:41 AM

Where? I dont know about all that.. But paypal is giving me a money back garuntee for $16.70 on this $300 order, plus I talked to some chick on the phone there and they sound real professional and everything. So I should be gettin This scooter later on this week. And if it's straight I'm going to get the skate too.

Kaneda 2005-07-11 04:19 PM

Those motorized skateboards are hella dangerous. My dad and I got a scooter and skateboard like 13 years ago, we we're like the first people in San Diego to have anything like it. Anyways the skateboard didn't have breaks and my dad wiped out on a gravel jetti, his g/f had to pick asphalt out of his buttcheeks... He then installed some personalized breaks.
It seems like a legit business. I think this is whats going to really answer the quesiton though. http://search.bbb.org/search.html

sue_13 2005-07-11 05:44 PM

Those scooters are fun as hell.

Adrenachrome 2005-07-11 06:41 PM

THanks alot bro I didn't realize the BBB did all this online.

http://worf.usshurdman.com/~vegas/co...l?compid=64124

Well, about the BBB I own a construction company that is not a BBB member and that doesn't mean we don't do the right thing. BBB lists them as "Unable to ascertain that this business has a valid business license" Same with mine

"unsatisfactory due to unresolved complaints" hurts my pride, I'm going to ask them about that.

Fuck

I'm going to look into Paypal's money back garuntee more closely because the prices at this place are unbeatable. and even if the scooters are half as good as they say it's well worth the price. I wish I could find out what the complaint(s) are, it could be something as stupid as slow shipping or slack return policies..

But if paypal garuntees my money back if they fuck me, then I'll order anyway.
What do you think?

Kaneda 2005-07-11 06:46 PM

Ya. They probably will, cause they offer that shit on ebay items... cause thats pretty much the only way you can fuck people. By not sending the item or payment.
Do teh scooterz have any gaurent33z?

Man... X79 looks like shit on Firefox. :( Nothing in see through.

Adrenachrome 2005-07-11 06:49 PM

Yea, they say 30 day manufacturer defect warranty, but I'm not really worried about the scooter, I can fix anything that might break, as long as I get a machine that goes down the road it's worth $300, I've contacted the BBB to find out what the complaints were, and I'm going to call the scooter place tomorrow to confront them about it and see what they say, and to get their license number. If they're licensed I can sue them if they screw me. If not, I would be on my own.

Edit:
Motorized vehicles of any kind, including but not limited to automobiles, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes are excluded from Paypal's money back garuntee policy, scooter X is out of the question for me, and thanks again Kaneda, you might have saved me $300 and a huge headache
