Samurai Champloo

Anyone know if episodes ahed of 8 are dubbed yet?

There's been a DVD for sale for a while in America (Including Season 2), so I assume that they are indeed dubbed. If not, subbed is considered better unless you hate reading.

Subbed in this case, is much... much worse. Dubbing from the same guys of Trigun/Cowboy Bebop. Simply amazing.

The dubbed versions are coming out month by month, which is gay.

Havent seen the dubbed versions yet, but IMO its crap when you're already used to the Japanese voices. Thats why I dont watch dubbed versions, no matter how good they may be. I remember watching this a while ago. I believe I stopped at 17 or something. (or the show stopped, I wasnt sure, it was ended somewhat open, and it said something like, to be continued?) Did it continue after that?

Has anyone heard of the new dubbing technology from Japan?? I think it was developed by Sony but I'm not sure.

What it is, is technology that when dubbing, actually makes the people's mouths move to the language their speaking. So instead of the mouths moving for a minute and one word being spoken (e.g. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), the mouths move in time with the dubs (e.g. House of Flying Daggers has just been released here over the pond with the dubbing thing, and it's bloody amazing)! You can tell if the dvd (it's only dvd's at the mo I think) has this technology if the back is bright red (house of the rising sun anyone?? Japan's flag...:p).

The first season ends at 17.

It finished at 26, though. I refuse to watch the un-dubbed versions, the dubbing is just amazing. There should be a torrent for the next set of episodes very soon.
