Keep the Emo forum?
 

Before it gets up and away, does anybody really want it for a designated place for people to cry about their real life, or just trash this and keep it all in "GENERAL CONVERSATION".

I think it's fine. It's not for "crying" but to share your real life experiences or whatever.

I believe that Grav brought it up in the Forum Discussion forum so that everyone could talk about it and decide if we wanted it. Obviously enough ppl thought it was a good idea.

I don't see what you've got against it...is it because it was Grav's idea and it got carried out??

I just don't see the need in having a "Life Discussion" forum. That is the reason for General Convo.

The reason General Conversation is not the place for that kind of discussion is that it is too flooded with borderline-Chat Forum shit, spam, and non-helpful feedback. The Life Discussion forum is supposed to be a structured place to actually have respectful conversation about life issues. It's in its infancy still so shut the hell up about it D3V. You try to get rid of everything you don't agree with.

The Gen Conv was first intended to be just for that, it's not our fault that you moderators can't seperate the "borderline chat forum" shit, maybe you should do a better job instead of making new forums for "feelings". This is a gaming forum.

D3V if you don't like it, don't post in it. It's as simple as that. The rest of the members posting here seem to like the idea, so deal with it. Besides, the reason it was created was to get away from posts like yours.

I actually think it should be done away with. The General Convo. section was meant for those type of topics.

It is the obligation of the members to not post an overwhemingly large amount of stupid bullshit in the General Convo forum. It would take me hours to clean out what you guys post in 10 ten minutes. And D3V, you are contributing to the problem so shut the fuck up.

It isn't an "emo" forum really. You can talk about anything that has to do with your life, it doesn't have to be about your emotions or anything like that.

The Life Discussion forum has so far been completely on-topic. I'm very impressed.

I second that, i was very suprised to see the replies and how on-topic and helpfull there were. I'm glad that forum is there and belive it was a good idea.

D3V, why are you posting for help in a forum that you want deleted. If you are trying to discredit a forum it's a pretty bad idea to ask for help in it.
