Suggest a "Life Discussion" forum

Yes, an "Emo Whining Forum" would do well, I think. Keep it seperate from something like General convo, and have it on a subscription basis so only those who want to see it have to.

Alternately, I think you can utilize the 'Subscribed Forums' feature and only look in forums you selected with the tool Wetwired added allowing you to search new posts in just those forums...

;)

I think it's a good idea, but the problem is a lot of members wont give a shit and will mock you for it until something happens to THEM and they need help or want to talk.

In that case, I'd recommend putting a warning on the forum. Absolutely no insulting allowed. A mod would have to be appointed (or ask me and I'd do it) to go super nazi on ANY negative feedback. This forum will NOT work if people dont want to post in it and get insulted, so in this case it is 100% needed.

Then I vote nay, even though I'm fairly sure that Grav was being sarcastic on this. Any time mods get super-Nazi things get bad.

Sovereign 2005-05-21 10:03 PM

as in no tolerence for name calling.....

Expample.
someone psots a thread:
"My grandma died today"

People respond
"AHHAHAH HAHAH"
"HAHA'
"Good riddance"

stuff like that would be deleted. Nazi modding wouldnt be needed if 90 percent of the forum were insensitive assholes.
Stuff like that.....

Actually, I've noticed that people have been more open and actually try to give good advice lately than in the past with the mockery.

LiveWire 2005-05-22 09:09 PM

Good advice from zelaron members? haha

Titusfied 2005-05-22 09:11 PM

Well, maybe not "good" advice, but advice that is constructive and could be helpful for someone that is really lost in their thoughts. Its good to get multiple perspectives.

I'd say that Zel members do occasionaly have some good input.

Grav 2005-05-23 10:59 AM

Blah blah, just put it in. Give WW something to do.

Penguin 2005-05-23 11:29 AM

I'm aware of how long you've been here but lately things haven't been that bad.
