There needs to be changes.
 

Not that there isn't anything wrong with the current staff at Zelaron, but I as a member feel that there needs to be a new set of members controlling the webspace here at Zel. Possible new moderators to get much more activity in the forums that are getting none (instead of backing out like some of the lame moderators have suggested and deleting them).

This is a GAMING forum, not a gen conv/chat forum. If you want that, downlad aim www.aim.com But the Gaming chat in this forum needs to come back, much more activity needs to be here, just though i'd adress it.

What if we get rid of Penguin, make Sov admin, get rid of normal moderators of non-hosted forums, and set it up to make the two most active non-blacklisted senior members each day Super Mods? Would that be better than the way it is today?

Wow. Now thats an idea...but the most active are usually the same people.

I agree with this. Whenever D3V posts people just read "Blah blah blah blah blah something stupid blah blah blah" instead of actually paying attention. This needs to stop because although D3V says some dumb shit, he also is a relatively intelligent person capable of observing things like anyone else. His observation is a very valid one, too. This forums seems to drift further and further away from its original purpose. There is about 5% gaming discussions and the rest is either intesting sports discussion, emo whining discussion, or spam. I don't think that having these things as a part of the forum is bad, I just think people should actually focus on discussing gaming instead of "OMG my g/f left me ;(". I'm also getting very sick of all this "ban D3V" shit because, yeah he used to be a shitty ass member, but recently he has been contributing interesting content and sparking good discussions. You can hate someone for posting dumb shit but don't hate on their good stuff just because they have posted dumb shit.
