need good 2ways walkie talkie
my boss wanted me to buy some long lasting extremely clear and long range 2 ways walkie talkie, the current one we're using is called Cobra and its not doing a very good job in helping us get our jobs done(battery last like 5 hours and has lots of statics). So if anyone know and had lots experiences wid walkie talkie plz give me some brand and model i should be looking for. Price is limited, probably under 300bucks or so..
also, i've seen those walkie talkie that school/mall security use, are they good(seems like they r)? and are they in my price range? |
Lol thats the same gay brand i use at work

My family has some kick-ass Motorola ones that we use for skiing (they have a range of a couple towns). Things are fucking beasts, more so than the ones you see security guys with. They're ridiculously expensive though. $500+ each. If you can get them though, do it.
I'll try to find a model number and update this post later. |

They're pretty darn clear. Better than any other Walkie-Talkie I've ever heard. I can't seem to find them though, otherwise I'd tell you which ones they are.

At my job we use, Motorola MTS 2000 Flashport. They work good, and the battery will last all day usually. I dont know how much they cost, but I pretty much work for motorola soo, they're probably free for us. Just google em and Im sure you could find the prices, or get some ebay style. I bet you could find JR's on ebay for cheaper.

Actually thats probably the only place to find them, i think they've been discontinued.

EDIT: I think this is it. I could only find one of them on Ebay though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...774191693&rd=1 |
