Most of the long timers got their senior membership over a year ago, when the activity hack first came out; at that time, the senior part was based on join time, not active time, so within a month they all got senior member. The reason that SYG is not senior member is that he left for the military arround that time and just this year got active enough to hit member.

Same basic story with me, minus the whole "leaving to join the army" part.
