Please post more information about your question maN.

His motherboard probably doesn't have an AGP slot. Though it doesn't matter, coz even Knight-Rider's video card is better than his.

domolordy 2004-12-19 06:08 AM

that may be, but i was given this one off a friend and i cant afford a new one. I dont think i have a AGP slot, but the person who gave it me said it was a PCi.

Adrenachrome 2004-12-19 09:16 AM

Then it will most definitly fit in the slot.

Can't help you without more info.

domolordy 2004-12-20 05:08 AM

but it doesnt fit into the pci slots, the slots are too close to the openin tingy

D3V 2004-12-20 11:19 AM

You mean there isn't enough room between other cards?

edit: oh wait, You are trying to plug it into the wrong slot, how many PCI slots do you have? Your trying to plug it into that little expansion slot thing thats off towards the back of the computer. You need to plug it into the other white slot.

Hades-Knight 2004-12-20 11:48 AM

send it to me

kockblocker1 2004-12-20 01:16 PM

So which one is it then?

domolordy 2004-12-21 05:00 AM

There is no way it will go into the ISA, there is no AGP (or it is too close to the opening), also the pci are too close to the opening, meaning it wont fit in dem.

domolordy 2004-12-21 05:01 AM

If possible, i will get a photo of it

domolordy 2004-12-21 05:19 AM

Lenny 2004-12-21 09:53 AM

Worm. This happened on mine, which is why I gave it to you.

It is just the wrong size.

Sure it should fit, it just doesn't.

Get a different one.

Hades-Knight 2004-12-21 09:01 PM

u got a agp there......did u pop the little expansion slot thing out of the case ebfore trying to put in the card?

domolordy 2004-12-24 05:08 AM

Yeah, but u see, the agp is alot smaller then it should be, and it is very close to the opening

D3V 2004-12-27 12:12 AM

The problem is, is that you don't have an AGP slot chief.

Lenny 2005-01-03 04:57 AM

Get a PCI card...as you might have noticed by now...I gave you an AGP card...and since you don't have any AGP slots, just PCI I advise get a new card...we just got...the GeForce FX 5200...and that works...so get that.

£50 from PC World.

And it has 128mb, more than enough for anything out there at the mo...the only problem is...the drivers are little buggers to load...
