Ok correct me if im wrong but wasnt this created just for terrorism?, but I have been hearing about FBI, Police etc. using the Patriot Act in the west to arrest prostituion, drug deals etc.?

Is this really happening, if so please give me some more information about it

Pft. They think that all drug dealers support terrorism, and therefore must be arrested. Its just a bullshit coverup. They are just looking for more and more reasons to arrest druggies and give them harder sentences because of their lost war on drugs. They are just stuckup and refuse to loose. They're also retarded. INstead of legalizing and regulating at least marijuana use in the US, the us would be gaining massive income for their fight against terrorism.

I've heard nothing about that though.

I didnt hear anything about it until my psycho Social Studies teacher told me about it, but he thinks all policies and plans etc. of Bush are wrong, so this whole situation could just be in his head

Even if it is doing more than fighting terrorism, is it really that wrong? It's fighting crime.

Other than the fact that it invades on your constitutional rights, no, it's not bad at all.

I'm a smoker, and I don't think there is anything wrong with smoking pot, it's silly for it to be illegal, but if this patriot act stops some lowlife drug dealer from getting younger kids on drugs then it is doing a fine job in my eyes.

well u had to be a younger kid buying pot from drug dealer at times, so jus wondering why you would mind or did u start older?

Edit: ok i guess i can kinda see what ur saying now, it wouldnt be the most horrible thing if 12 year old kids were buying sum weed, but if theyre out buying shrooms and shit then ya it kinda is a big deal

I think cops these days have become more of an aggressive force against the people rather than a supportive force working with the people. If you watch the Drunk Driving commercials they always threaten you and use slogans like "You drink and drive and we are going to fucking stab you, boy." The police has way overstepped their bounds in this country.

I think, to a degree, stabbing drunk drivers still could be considered within their bounds.

Drunk drivers are some of the biggest threats to innocent lives, and police are in place to protect and serve.

yes drunk drivers are some of the biggest threats, but police should definitely not be given the right to stab them for it, well idk it certainly would stop me from driving drunk if i got stabbed in the shoulder or somewhere, so you may have a good idea there :)
