WTF. I started on 9 because someone said that earlier got to level 5 then I heard were supposed to be on 13 so I started on that and am now 6. I really don't feel like restarting again.

6 levels (less than an hour of play) vs an entire clan of people who can help you out.

Easy choice in my opinion. Although I suppose you could wait till the open beta is over.

While it may be true that you can get to level 10 in a matter of hours, what you neglected to take into consideration is that it's sans lvl 75 in egineering and mining, as well as quite a few silver.

So we'll level again together in the afternoon?

Oh the servers are currently down for maintenance for 3 hours. I got to lvl 8 with my tauren warrior, it's a nice game. I like the tradeskills :) I picked mining and blacksmithing. I dont really get how the rested state is supposed to be working, I was playing and started at normal, then for a while it said you are now rested, and then it switched back again, twice. :S

Whenever you spend a significant amount of time logged out, in or on top of an inn, or in a major city, it sets you as rested. When you are rested, you get additional exp from kills. Usually, it only lasts one kill, but with enough time "resting", it can last longer.

I know, but that's not very hard either.

Yea but that's the thing, I wasnt logged out :S, it changed from normal to rest state while I was playing. a bug maybe?

No, you just walked into an inn/main city (Orgrimmar, Undercity, Thunderbluff)

When are they coming back up?

Supposed to be right now but they are still not up.

edit: they are slowly starting to come back up. no sign of 28 yet.

It also works out in the wild, 'Rest' just accrues 4x as slowly. You gain ~1 bar for every 8 hours logged or Resting (this rate is at an Inn/Major City). You can gain a maxiumum effect of 1.5 levels in 'Rested' state. This helps out people with a severe case of 'Alt-itis'. ;)

so are we on 13 or 28 cause in another thread people are saying they are on 13??
