Going to Germany!
Hey everyone long time no talk... just thought Id say hey. Im leaving for Germany in less then 24 hours for my next army duty station. This is the last day of my two week vacation, and I will be in Germany early friday. Sorry I havnt posted very much, but the computers at the barracks I was in are really slow and have long lines... hopefully when I get to Germany they will have a better setup, or I might just buy a laptop and get internet in my new room if its possible. Im 21 now and been a member of Zelaron since I was 19 I believe. I will be posting alot more hopefully when I get there. Im pretty sure I will be going to the middle east in 2005 because I hear almost all the units from europe are deploying there alot. My job in the army is a 31U Signal Support Systems Specialist, what I do is repair all the different communications equipment the army uses, so they willl most likely need me there.
Basic training was really hard, I went to Fort Knox the other alll male basic training besides Fort Benning. When I got to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) It got alot easier - you can actually go out and party on the weekends and have video games and stuff. Nice posting again - SYG |
Nice to see you on!

Yo, SYG.
*Medieval Bob waves to the reason he is at Zelaron. With nothing else relative to say, he stumbles off to find something to eat.* |
Whatever happened to making posters for the army?
|
Can you hax into XM radio for me?
|
Couldnt get the poster job right away when I joined, have to reclassify into it 2 years into the service, but seeing as I have over a year the wait aint bad. I like the job I got anyway, all I have to do is repair the easy stuff on the equipment, in order to take apart an army radio you need a top secret security clearance.

Good luck, SYG.

In Germany, beer is cheaper than water.
